All scholarship applicants are required to sit the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER) Scholarship Examination, a national examination process which is coordinated externally to the School.  This annual academic ability testing program is used by independent schools to select students for the award of scholarships.  The ACER Scholarship Examination is now held in February each year.

Scholarship applications

Advertisements for these scholarships are placed in the School Newsletter and various media in Term 4 of each year.  All applicants must register for the ACER Scholarship Examination.  Applicants who are then shortlisted must undertake an interview before a scholarship offer is confirmed.  Interviews take place in March.

Academic Scholarships

Applicants for an Academic Scholarship are required to complete the ACER Scholarship Examination.  Applicants are shortlisted according to their academic performance in this exam, and will be required to attend an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.

Students applying for Performance Scholarships (Cultural, Musical, or Sporting) are required to have achieved State or National level in sport, or the equivalent of Grade 4 in AMEB for cultural or musical activities.

Applicants for Performance Scholarships must complete and submit the Performance Scholarship Application Form.
