Co-Curricular Activities > Sport > Participation
St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School aims to provide a comprehensive Activities Program, which is held in esteem by the School and broader community. Within a supportive Christian environment and through the encouragement of participation and recognition of excellence, the School provides opportunities for all students to access a wide range of sporting and cultural activities, which suit individual talents, provide challenge and foster personal development.

To improve the processes in place for the organisation and coordination of the teams a new process for trials and team selection is being established.
1. Dates are advertised for trials through various modes of communication such as information sheets, Sports HUB, email and E-news.
All sports will have two to three trial dates. All girls must attend at least two of the trials to be considered, clashes with other commitments need to be discussed with the relevant coordinator of the sport.
2. A registration form can be found in the Sports HUB for each sport, which contains relevant information relating to Parental contact, Code of Conduct, any fees associated with the sport, uniform, trial dates & venues, training & game information (if available) and approval to be signed by the parents of the girl wishing to participate.
3. Download and complete the form. Please ensure that all relevant information is current and up to date.
4. Daughter is to bring the completed form to her first trial. Girls will not be allowed to trial without a completed form given to the coordinator of the sport. Forms maybe faxed to either (07) 3862 0701 (Main reception), or 3862 0797 (Activities Office) or emailed to the relevant coordinator of the sport.
5. Team nominations will be based on the girls at trials
