St Margaret’s will require confirmation from ISCA of the Homestay payment to continue the enrolment process. Non payment of Homestay fees may result in your daughter’s exclusion from classes.
All enquiries regarding Homestay fees and charges should be referred to Ms Nivi Das (Director), International Student Care Australia on 61 7 3268 6117 or alternatively via email: admin@isca.net.au.
Music, Theory of Music, Tennis, Swimming and Speech and Drama may be taken as private lessons by application. Parents wishing their daughter to take such lessons must apply to the School no later than the end of the second week of Term One. All girls taking extra subjects will be required to do so for a minimum of one semester (half year).
One Full Term's Notice of Withdrawal is required, otherwise one term's fees will be charged in lieu of notice. Music teachers may charge different rates and will render separate accounts directly to parents. Additional fees also apply for any student sitting AMEB exams. Fees for lessons provided by the School's Speech and Drama and Music Departments are charged per semester (half yearly) and are included in the second and third Term Fee Statements.

Fees are charged per Semester (based on an 8 week term) to participate in this activity, not per lesson. It is anticipated each student will receive one lesson per week, however the popularity of this program means make up lessons are impractical unless the student advises their teacher of any absence 48 hours prior.

Years 3 to 10 students attend one compulsory school camp per year. The fee for this activity will be charged to the Account for the term in which the camp occurs.
Camp Australia Fee details for 2011 are available from www.campaustralia.com.au.
It is the intention of the School Council to set fees once each year, however, the School reserves the right to revise fees at any time. The School charges fees per year and issues monthly Fee Statements.
Accounts must be paid per Semester as follows:
Semester 1 Fees and Levies are to be paid by 12 January 2011.
Semester 2 Fees and Levies are to be paid by 18 May 2011.
Bank charges incurred by the School for all items such as returned cheques and foreign currency drafts will be invoiced on the next Fees Statement.
The School cannot provide education to students where fees remain unpaid. It is an enforced policy of the School that a student may not take their place at the School at the start of Term where fees for a previous Term remain unpaid.
The Enrolment Fee and Confirmation Fee are non-refundable. Tuition fees will be refunded in full if a Visa application is rejected (provided that written notification is received from the Australian Embassy) and/or if the course enrolled in is not offered.
Refunds, where applicable, will be made within 2 weeks (provider default) or 4 weeks (student default) of a written request if a course does not proceed.
This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
The registered provider’s dispute resolution processes do not circumscribe the student’s right to pursue other legal remedies.
Please note: Refunds will be made payable to the parent/legal guardian. Refunds will only be made payable to the student when a written request is received from the parent/legal guardian authorising the payment to the student.
Parents are reminded that they are required to provide ONE FULL TERM’S WRITTEN NOTICE of a student’s withdrawal from the School, or fees in lieu of notice will be charged.
