Scholarship applications now open

St Margaret’s has launched its scholarship and bursary program for entry in 2012 and 2013.

With three categories of scholarships and a boarding bursary available to applicants, there are many entry pathways into St Margaret’s.

Scholarships for entry in 2013 are open to students who can demonstrate academic, sporting, cultural or musical excellence, as well as a commitment to the School values of spirit, faith, integrity, courage, respect and passion.

All scholarship applicants must complete the ACER Scholarship Examination on 25 February 2012.

The boarding bursary is open to students entering in either 2012 or 2013 who are experiencing financial hardship, have strong academic results, are supportive of the aims and ethos of St Margaret’s, and whose home address is more than 200km from the School.

The Principal of this independent day (Pre-Prep to Year 12) and boarding (Years 7 to 12) school, Ros Curtis, encourages families to apply.

“A relevant, authentic and engaging learning program is the focus of everything we do at St Margaret’s,” said Ros.

“But we also offer girls so much more than an academic schooling experience,” she said.

“We can offer them a home away from home in our boarding house, an exciting and healthy lifestyle with many extra-curricular sports and music activities to choose from, a safe and supportive environment, and 24-hour care provided by our specialist teaching and support staff.”
