The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is an International Award available to all students.

It aims to equip students with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world.

The Award is an exciting program that you design, based on your interests. There are four areas you can become involved in:

  • Skills – anything from playing in a band, fashion design or film and video making. You decide
  • Volunteering – choose your area of interest in the community, such as youth work, the environment or charity work, to name a few.
  • Adventurous Journey – journey into an unfamiliar environment with a group and challenge yourself.
  • Physical Recreation – get out there and get sweating! Dancing, adventure sports, ball sports, martial arts, the list goes on.
  • Award Scheme:

  • Bridge Award – Ages 12 and 13
  • Bronze Award – Ages 14 and above
  • Silver Award – Ages 15 and above
  • Gold Award – Ages 16 and above
